US EIA
Weekly ethanol production, stocks and prices - the corn grind, whether it is clearing, and what it sells for.
Weekly US oxygenate-plant output - the corn grind, in barrels a day.
Ethanol held in storage. Building stocks against steady grind means demand is lagging.
EIA publishes this on Wednesday at 10:30 ET for the week ending the previous Friday, so the most recent week available is always the one just gone. This is that week.
Weekly fuel ethanol production and stocks from the Energy Information Administration. Ethanol takes roughly a third of the US corn crop, so the grind is one of the largest single sources of corn demand and the fastest-moving one - weekly, against a monthly WASDE. Production alone only tells half of it: if output holds steady while stocks build, ethanol is being made faster than it is being used, and that backs up into the corn bid sooner or later.
Ethanol plants produced 1,053 MBBL/D in the week ending Fri 2 Oct, up 46 on the week, stocks drew down to 23,743 MBBL.
USDA AMS, week ending Fri 9 Oct · the two by-products are the revenue either side of the corn a plant buys
AMS publishes this on Friday morning for the week that has just ended - the same week the production and stocks figures above cover.
